About
A true devotion to textiles and hand-made crafts stems from an intense satisfaction of turning conception into reality. Sometimes in today’s modern world we can forget the beauty and quality in local, handmade craftsmanship.
My passion for textiles began over 25 years ago, learning the basic skills from my mother and carrying this through to study textiles in the Scottish Borders. I continued to develop commercial textile products with an array of well known retailers and tailors, until founding the Caledonian Curtain Co. in 2020. Being an accomplished curtain maker and seamstress requires patience, attention to detail and quality materials. These elements go into every piece I create, every design being unique to your style and wishes.
